Trunks

For higher network loads, Logmanager server allows network aggregation of lines. Setting of the aggregation is available in Trunks menu. If the aggregation is set, it appears in the table of Trunks Settings.

There are information available about the name of the group (name) and associated members (members).

Trunks can be added, edited or deleted.

By clicking on the Add icon we can access the form, where we can create new Trunk. We have to insert the following details:

• Name: arbitrary name of the trunk
• Interfaces: select the network interface you want to use from the drop down menu. After selecting the interface click on the Add button, by that the interface will be transferred to the lower field. Now you can add another interface, with which the aggregation will be done.

After you have finished inserting information, click on the Create button and the Trunk will be saved and activated. By clicking on Cancel button, the inserted information will not be saved and you will be back in the Trunks Settings table.

To edit existing Trunk, click on the pencil icon, by that you will be editing the Trunk.

When editing, you can only change network interfaces, you can’t change the group name. By clicking on the interface name, you delete the interface by clicking on the delete button. After you finished editing, you can save changes by clicking on the Save button, discard changes by clicking on the Cancel button.

Select the Trunk you want to delete and click on the Cross icon. Dialog to delete the Trunk will run.

To confirm deleting, name of the Trunk you want to delete is shown. If you agree with deleting, click on the Yes button – Trunk will be deleted. If you disagree, click on the No button, deleting of the Trunk will be canceled.
