Routes

For communication between the Logmanager server and configured virtual networks (or other networks), you must configure the routing, to prevent connections between the networks.

Here is information available about the name of the destination IP address (Destination), network mask of destination (Netmask) and gateway of destination (Gateway).

Routes can be added, edited or deleted.

Adding new Route

By clicking on the Add icon we can access the form, where we can create new Route. We have to insert following details:

  • Destination: IP address of Destination
  • Netmask: network mask of Destination
  • Gateway: IP address of Gateway

Form is checked on validity of all fields. If you enter invalid values, form can’t be saved and invalid value will be shown in red border. After you have finished inserting information, click on the Create button and the Route will be saved and activated. By clicking on Cancel button, the inserted information will not be saved and you will be back in the Routes Settings table.

To edit existing Route, click on the pencil icon, by that you will be editing the Route.

Form is the same like adding a new IP address and form is checked on validity of all fields. After you finished editing, you can save changes by clicking on the Save button, discard changes by clicking on the Cancel button.

Deleting existing Route

Select the Route you want to delete and click on the Cross icon. Dialog to delete the Route will run.

To confirm deleting, IP address of the Route you want to delete is shown. If you agree with deleting, click on the Yes button – Route will be deleted. If you disagree, click on the No button, deleting of the Route will be canceled.
