3.11.1

In version 3.12, we will remove support for TLS < 1.2 in Rsyslog. Please inspect your log sources that are using TLS and make sure they are using TLS >= 1.2 - otherwise they will stop working after an update to Logmanager version 3.12 once it’s released.

New features

  • Hostnames of newly registered and active Logmanager Orchestrator agents will be transformed to lowercase. This change will be visible in Hostname column in Sources > Beats Agents menu. Have a look at below examples:

Version 3.11.0:

Hostname in uppercase before 3.11.1

Hostname in uppercase before 3.11.1

Version 3.11.1:

Hostname in lowercase after 3.11.1

Hostname in lowercase after 3.11.1

Agents which are offline, or in other words are incative and not connected with Logmanager, will not be transformed to lowercase.

Bug fixes

  • improved responsiveness of the page “Database status” on boxes with a bigger number of indicies
  • fixed deleting Windows agent
  • fixed performance issue in VMware component
  • fixed VMware component parser - added previously missing key field to parsing function
  • fixed displaying status “Available firmware version” on page “Software”
